Enjoy Mid-Autumn 2017 with my friend at Yen So Park

Lantern Festival Gamuda is like a small “Hoi An” scene right in Hanoi, starting from October 1, 2017 to the end of the month at Yen So Park. On the mid-autumn night, the event attracted many couples and people in Hanoi.

Although knowing that day is a mid-autumn day, I still turned on Uber Drive app and took 3 trips. I wished to archive the first target soon to go back the hometown at weekend. Then, I broke my promise to my friend, at first I decided to see her at 7h30 but until 8h00 I just picked her up because of the traffic jam when driving Uber. However, we had a lot of awesome moments with charm and beauty of the festival.

Here are some memorial photos in this event

A big lantern shows up in the Gamuda’s main gate

As you may know, Gamuda is the sponsor for this event

No time to eat as well as change the clothes, I put on uber’s uniform to go out.

Many kinds of calligraphy were sold in the lantern walking street.

This is one of them.

Some couples interested in taking a selfie on this bridge.

The colourful fountain was set in the centre of lake

A lot of girls made the best of their time take selfie photos

just 10 thousand dong for every a lantern, then wish and throw it down the surface water

The moment throwing our 2 lanterns.

And try to take a selfie photo with my friend.

Or just take by myself

Close to…. look beautiful huh?  😀

But, I still prefer to taking alone 😀

Happy 1st birthday to UberMOTO Hanoi

UberMOTO is a service of UBER (a smart mobile-app), it allows riders can get the nearest motobike and compute payments automatically. It was officially operated in April 21st, 2016 in Hanoi and HCMC, it’s now getting more and more popular because of its convenient and saving.

I started joining Uber as a part-time motodriver over 2 months ago and really interested in this job. No need to say, the first is earning money without pushing for time. I can ride on my motobike whenever I want. The second is improving my communication skills, I am a shy and quiet person so facing with strangers make me feel more confident.

Moreover, sometimes I suddently grab foreigners and tell some funny stories to them, listen their life stories through long roads. This is not only the best opputunity to partise English face to face, but also having good income.

There were unforgeted memories that I have never forgot. A older woman called me while I was in another trip to the Reft of Red River, I accepted this trip and let her wait for a while. When getting to the destination, a man asked me for carring him. I decided to call back her and require cancelling the trip but, Unfortunately, She is an unpleasanted person. She scared me that if I had cancelled this trip, she would have reported this to the administrators. Unluckily, this was the first time I went to this area, so I used the navigator by Google Maps but it took me the wrong roads then she saw in the app and called me again and again many times. Afterthat, just about 30 minute later, I found her, I do not know what to say. I tried to explain and sorry her though she shout at me like cat and dog. Finally, she still rode my motobike and kept going the trip. while driving, I tried to strick up a conversation with her, and healed the mistakes. She glanced my mobile and gave me a change more than the payment showed in the screen. This was a moral for my life.

A lot of trips made me grow as a adulthood. among of them, there were conversations with strangers as if friends for a long time.

On the 28th of May, 2017 in Hanoi, Uber celebrated a gorgeous event named “UberMOTO, one year of movement” in Thanh Xuan gymnastics and sports. with the participation of most UberMOTO drivers in Hanoi.

The welcome gate makes me get an impression!

People are happy waiting for the event

Because it’s too hot so…

Some one deciede to sit under the shadow to avoid the sunshine

A banner of the event hanging in front of parking.

The area for new registrations.

The event begins with the introductions of two MCs

Look familiar?

Let’s get in line and recieve the gifts

I take randomly a pair of sunglasses and a Cellphones hat.

An integral part. That is UBEROlympics
Tie 2 others’ feet and kick the ball to the goal.

A game used for finesse and friendship.

They must move without putting their feet on the floor.

The quickest team will WIN!

Grab the customers through the app.

If one of these balls fell to the floor, they must try again.

It’s a tug of war to determind which team will have 10 million VND

And as you can see my team. > The moment of victory

We are team 8

We are the champions

Selfie with the certificate…

Do not look at me, look at her….

I shaked hands with Only C singer

Let’s listen to his song: Yêu Là “tha thu” meaning Love is forgive.

Anh Không Đòi Quà – I don’t need my gifts from you.

Đếm ngày xa em – Count the days leaving you

Mình yêu nhau đi (Hùng my team, ft Bích Phương) – Let’s love together.

Bao giờ lấy chồng? – When will I get married?

Anyway. Celebrate a victory with 10 million VND

Thank UBER for a wonderful day!

60+ Earth hour – (2017)

Earth Hour is an annual event, it holds on the last Saturday in March. The main goal is to raise the awareness of people in saving energy by turning off the unnecessary lights as well as equipment. The symbol of the event.

Nowadays, scientists prove that our planet is hotter and hotter, most reasons come from human beings, we destroy the forests and pollute the environment. This is a part of the increase in greenhouse gases and climate change. Recently, We can see a lot of erratic weather effects and natural disasters in many places on earth.

That’s why we come here together. With the enthusiasm of youth, we wish to turn ideas into action, want to have a better place for the future.

Initially, we had a group of four (2 girls and 2 boys) from FFL volunteer team. From childhood, all of us had a passion for this event in common. But after a few days of practice, two girls gave up, I don’t know what’s the causes. Anyway, the others still pursue our decision to the main event.

This attracted many students in Hanoi

Most participants were girls

A night to review before the main event.

Yearly, the event takes place in front of Hanoi Opera House.

They used 3 fly cameras to record the word “60+” neon lamps was held in hands by students.

It was also lived stream on VTV1 – Vietnam Television.

Most lights were turned off entire the event.

Our team, The time before performing the flash mob.

Noo Phuoc Thinh, one of the ambassadors of the event, a Vietnamese singer sang a song with his student named: “Let’s save our earth”

See more:

The slogan of this year: “Turn off the unwanted lights, keep the future bright!”.

Selfie alone..

Me with a shit friend.

you can see the recorded video here.

Because the time of the program was not enough, so our performance was cut. You can see here:

This was the first time I took part in this event. Surprisingly, each time I experienced something new, I got to know a girl and maybe fall for her. It like love at the first sight. Anyway, bye for now.

A pleasant experience on the 72nd floor

On Sunday night of December 11, 2016. We had a chance to visit Landmark 72 otherwise known as Keangnam, it’s one of the tallest towers in Vietnam.

The begin of the story started from my younger sister, Hue. To take advantage of the holiday, she visited our boarding-house and stayed there until almost evening. After having dinner together with my older, younger brothers and me. I wondered why will we go somewhere for relaxing? Hue suggested us discovering the tallest floor of Keangnam and we all agreed with her idea, Huyen was coming at that time.

The journey started at 7:30 PM, we reached the destination just about 10 minutes from my house. My older brother paid almost 1 million vnđ in total for 5 tickets. Of course, The average cost per ticket is 200.000 vnđ on Sunday night.

Here are some videos and photos were recorded and taken by me:

Inside the elevator. Because of reduced air pressure,  we were slightly tinnitus.

This is a live stream video that was recorded from my phone at that time

We spent almost time in this 3D art room

I will show more photos below:

That’s normal 😀

Conquered to the Eiffel tower

I suddenly became a tiny person

My body was disappeared

Open the windows

A water picture was destroyed by me

A thunder punch

Why did she choose me?

Together with Huyen

All crazy faces in a funny picture

Outside view from the tallest skyscraper of Vietnam

The first floor was decorated gorgeously

And drank ice-tea beside pavement.

Our journey had reached its end. And we went home at 10:30 PM
